ACHIEVEMENTS 2009

We have recently successfully completed our first important project.
It is useful to remind that the evaluation visits performed by AHSECA in May 2008 and December 2008 allowed to:

  • Inform school heads on the nature and the quantity of articles to be delivered in February 2009,
  • Agree with the school heads and the teachers on how to proceed with the distribution.
Within this framework, a 20’ container was sent from France to Guinea in January 2009. The boat “Manx Lion” left Antwerp in Belgium and reached Conakry on February 2nd 2009. Onboard, the result of 12 months collection of various articles for the 1300 schoolchilds of Farmoriah and the 200 schoolchilds of Barenfory.

THUS, AHSECA NEEDS MORE THAN EVER YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

The next steps are:

  • Construction of latrines and water wells
  • Construction of libraries
  • Purchasing of books locally for local programs
  • Implementation of social and cultural activities
  • Construction of safety fences around the schools.
